INFORMATION ON VIRTUAL VISITS

Birmingham International Airport has been re-built virtually for you to explore on the Web. This interactive site gives you the exciting opportunity to explore the airport online. You can wander around the airport, study the businesses based there and undergo a training programme for Customer Services.

The main purpose of this site is to support vocational courses in Leisure and Tourism and Business Studies, meeting the requirements for both GCSE and post-16 courses.

The resources within the site are a joint development between Birmingham International Airport and teachers from Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin education services, and the site has been developed by Third Dimension Ltd.

The project has been co-ordinated by Shropshire EBP as part of the “Skills for Clusters” programme and sponsorship from BIA Ltd.
